Are Klean Kanteen products dishwasher safe?
- Klean Kanteen products are dishwasher safe, but we personally recommend handwashing of insulated and colored products whenever possible.
Can I use a Klean Kanteen for alcoholic beverages?
- Yes! Klean Kanteens are constructed of 18/8 food grade stainless steel, so there shouldn't be issues with respect to the imparting of flavors i.e. switching from water to juice to wine and back again, as long as you clean your Klean Kanteens properly.
Do you offer replacement parts?
- Yes we do, but predominantly for our TKWide caps and Classic Insulated loop caps ONLY. Please note however that we do not sell these parts online, and that you can online purchase or avail of them either through our physical store locations and/or by reaching out to us through social media. Parts stock is also subject to seasonal availability, so we cannot guarantee that the part you want is readily available for purchase at any given time.
How do I clean my Klean Kanteen?
- Our kanteens, cups, tumblers, caps (except for the bamboo cap), canisters and food boxes are all dishwasher safe.
- For thorough cleaning, you can use warm, soapy water and a bottle brush. We also recommend an old-fashioned cleaner: mixing water and baking soda making a nice thick paste.
- If your bottle or cap seems to be retaining flavors or smells, use diluted vinegar and soak them in it overnight. NOTE: the Stainless Unibody Bamboo Cap should not be soaked or immersed. You can also review our cleaning and maintenance videos here:
- Official USA guide
- RISE and Go tumbler guide

- TKWide collection guide (though also applicable for the Classic Insulated bottles!)
Some last reminders:
- For certain items and caps, always remember to check for the presence of a silicone ring/gasket embedded within the grooves of the cap (normally near the actual lid area. DO NOT LOSE THIS PART — as it's what allows for the caps to seal and unseal properly to the body of the bottle. These can and should be washed periodically. See this video here.
- While our newest lines of Klean Kanteens are dishwasher safe, please take note that for older TKWide, Wide Insulated, and Classic Insulated lines i.e. pre-2021, safest is still to handwash the bottles.

What is your warranty policy?
- Manduka guarantees the Manduka PRO™, PROlite® and PRO Travel yoga mats to last the lifetime of the mat, if used and cared for properly. Since the PRO Squared is a multi-purpose mat, it is not included under the Lifetime Guarantee. The lifetime of the mat is approximately 10 years of regular use when loved and cared for. Should a PRO™ mat wear out past its useful life from regular use under normal conditions, we will replace the product. Maximum one replacement per purchase. Cosmetic wear or damage resulting from improper handling or care, post-purchase modifications, alterations, negligence, and use for a purpose other than for which it was designed, are not covered by the Manduka Guarantee.
- Please keep in mind that all warranties and lifetime guarantees are voided if any products are purchased from unauthorized resellers, and/or if the mats are/were sold in bulk to fitness studios of all kinds.
How do I clean my Manduka yoga mats?
Understanding the different materials used in our Manduka mats is important, as there are different methods needed to deep clean them. Visit our Care and Use page to know the detailed instruction per type of mat. In terms of basic notes however, see the following:
- For the PRO series line: wipe it down after every practice with our Manduka Mat Wash and refresh. Spray the entire surface of the mat. Use a clean cloth to wipe the mat dry before rolling or using. Never soak, shower or submerge your mat in water. Store in a cool, dry place. For a Deeper Clean: Spray generously until the mat is visibly wet. Let sit 1-2 minutes. Use a clean cloth to gently scrub any areas that have dirt or stains. Dry your mat before rolling or using.
- For the EKO series line: Without soaking or submerging, use a generous amount of Manduka’s Natural Rubber Yoga Mat Restore over the entire surface, paying close attention to any areas of decolorization. Allow the cleaner to sit for 5 minutes and then gently use a clean cloth to wipe mat dry before rolling or using. We do not recommend cleaning your mat with a garden hose, putting it in the bathtub, shower, washing machine, or using a vacuum cleaner, as any of these will likely damage the mat beyond repair. Do not leave the mat exposed to excessive amounts of sunlight. Do not use any type of soap for cleaning, as it will compromise the performance and integrity of the mat.
- For the FOUNDATION series lines (e.g. Begin Mat): follow the same instructions as the PRO mats to be safe.
- For the X Mat seres: use Manduka’s Mat Wash & Refresh to keep your Manduka X mat smelling fresh and clean. Spray the entire surface of the mat. Note: Due to the rough surface texture of the Manduka X, you might find it easier to use a damp clean cloth to wipe the mat clean. Apply more mat wash as necessary. Dry before rolling or using.
In general, we strongly recommend that you use one of our Manduka-branded mat cleansers and restorers in order to bring out the best and ensure that your mat lasts the longest. In pinch — disinfectants and other homemade solutions MAY work, but we cannot fully sanction such as each comes with its own risks and may put your mat at risk for lifetime warranty eligibility (in the case of the PRO series). DO NOT use bleach, use detergent, and/or use the washing machine to clean and/or disinfect your mats.
How do I 'break in' my new PRO® Series mat?
- Just like your favorite pair of jeans or a well-worn baseball glove, the PRO® requires a break-in process, or PROcess as we like to call it, which is really more like a ritual. As you practice, the top surface will naturally wear in, transforming it into one that’s uniquely yours. The more you stretch, twist, sweat and breathe together, the better it gets—just like your practice. Designed to last a lifetime (with a guarantee to back it up), you’ll never wear your PRO® mat out, you’ll just wear it in. In fact, some of our very first (and now legendary) Black Mat PROs are still being used today—that’s nearly 20 years of practice and still flowing strong. Regardless of which break-in method you use, it’s really all about making the mat yours. The best way to break in your mat is practice, practice, practice, but if you want to speed things up a little, try the salt method below or view our break-in video here.
How do I keep from slipping on my recently purchased eKO®?
- Regularly cleaning the eKO® mat with our Natural Rubber Mat Wash will keep it in the cleanest and grippiest condition. Natural tree rubber often gets “thirsty” and a good cleaning can make a world of difference in appearance and grip. If you sweat a lot, there still might be a slight amount of slip in some standing poses and poses like down dog, but if you keep your awareness and energy moving towards, instead of away, from your center of gravity, the "slippage" stops and one can stay firm in the pose. Actually, a little slippage comes in handy in some poses. For instance, during shoulder stand or plow pose, when it's nice to allow the head to slide and the neck to lengthen.
Do the Yogitoes towels have a top and a bottom side?
- The Yogitoes towel does indeed have a designated top and bottom. The patented Skidless technology grips to your mat and prevents slipping no matter how much you move or sweat. The smooth side without the silicone nubs is meant to provide a luxurious feeling on your hands and feet.
Which side of the mat should I use?
- The top of the mat has a frog logo in the top right-hand corner. The bottom has a dot pattern texture, which prevents the mat from sliding on the floor.
How do I get my mat to lie flat after it has been rolled up?
- If you store your mat rolled up, try rolling it so the top surface is facing outwards. This keeps the corners of the mat flat when practicing. In other words, roll the mat just like you received it, with the frog facing outward.
I find that I'm slipping on my new equa® hot Yoga Mat. Do you have any suggestions?
- The eQua® yoga mat was designed as a mat with a stunning combination of art and hot yoga performance. The mat combines a soft microfiber eQua Towel top layer (with moisture-activated grip) and a supportive, natural rubber eKO Mat foundation. Given the moisture-activated grip technology, you will likely find this mat to be ideal once your practice gets sweaty.PRO Tip: Since the top layer is moisture activated, we recommend dabbing a small amount of water on your mat (where your hands and feet go) before your practice to activate the grip areas you need to support your practice.
Does the eKO® mat smell? How do I make the smell fade?
- All natural rubber yoga mats have a scent that can be especially strong when the mat is new.The smell is not a result of off-gassing chemicals, as no toxic chemicals have gone into the manufacturing process. Your eKO® mat's natural rubber smell will fade, but not completely vanish due to its eco-friendly composition. To make the smell fade more quickly, leave your mat unrolled in an airy, shaded area and wipe the mat down with Manduka’s Natural Rubber Mat Wash, a vinegar-based cleaning solution with essential oils.

Can I iron my Baggu bag?
- It’s not recommended to iron Baggu bags, as high heat may damage most nylon fabrics. Instead, smooth out wrinkles by hanging the bag or lightly steaming it.
How do I clean my Baggu bag?
- Please check the product material and care tags found on your product and on this website, then check the instructions here below according to your Baggu's material type!
- To clean our Recycled Ripstop Nylon and Heavyweight Nylon products, machine (or hand) wash cold and line dry.
- To clean our Polyester products, machine (or hand) wash cold and line dry.
- To clean our Canvas products, feel free to just toss them in the washing machine, with the exception of bags with hardware (such as top zip closures), which should be spot cleaned. Since heat can be damaging to the integrity of the fabric, we recommend line drying, as it is more gentle (and better for the environment!).
- To clean our Recycled Leather products, make sure to spot clean only. The best way to care for our recycled leather is to use a soft, clean cloth with water to wipe surface stains clean. Avoid using leather conditioners or rough materials.
