Klean Kanteen Warranty Form & Policy

We are proud of the materials and workmanship that goes into each Klean Kanteen product, Klean Kanteen stands by its Strong-as-Steel™ Guarantee which covers only manufacturing defects (e.g. insulation concerns, rust, rattling, pinholes, etc). If you are unsure that your product has a manufacturing defect, do kindly refer to our website or customer service teams for assistance prior to requesting for a replacement.

All replacement fillings require that the defective products be left with Certified Calm/Klean Kanteen to undergo testing with the QA team for proper diagnosis. If you purchased your Klean Kanteen (or accessory) from another retailer or store that is not under Klean Kanteen Philippines, are not its official online and offline retail partners nor Certified Calm, we strongly encourage you to claim replacements from that retailer or store as they may be able to more concretely accommodate key concerns (e.g. damages during shipping transit, mishandling of product) on your behalf.

The lead time for the entire process can take up to 4 weeks. Normal wear and tear, including scratches and dents, misuse of products (e.g. placing product in the freezer, multiple & extreme dents, etc.) are not covered by the Klean Kanteen stands by its Strong-as-Steel™ Guarantee. We strongly encourage all claimants to save and present a copy of their purchase receipt when filing claims as this makes our filing and testing process (and the process of your claims) faster. By purchasing your product from our respective channels, it is assumed to be understood that you accept the terms and conditions governing our replacement policies.

The following are the Terms and Conditions for our product:

1. Caps, accessories, and name engraving are not part of the guarantee.

2. All products for testing must be clean, empty of contents, and dry.

3. An approved bottle for replacement will be replaced with a Klean Kanteen product of the same collection, year model, size, and color.

4. If the replacement is out of stuck or unavailable:

  • It can only be replaced with products of the same collections with the same price or lower.
  • The customer can also choose to upgrade to a newer model of the same collection, but must shoulder the difference in price between the product for replacement and the replacement bottle.

5. For limited edition products, note that the replacement is subject to availability and if unavailable will follow the terms and conditions stated above.

6. Coded products are not eligible for replacements.

7. No claim stubs, no replacement release.

Take note of our Warranty Request Process below:

1. Fill out the return/exchange request forms available in all Certified Calm stores and/or the warranty request form linked below.

2. Proof of Purchase OR Customer Registration is REQUIRED. Our customer registration form is provided below.

3. Bring the bottle in through our Certified Calm stores or Klean Kanteen Rockwell for checking and testing.

4. Wait for about 4 weeks for an update on the status of your warranty request. You will either be notified to pick-up your replacement, and/or be told that your request has been denied due to key circumstances. We will do our best to notify you through Viber for any and all concerns, but you may also follow up with us through our various social media and email accounts.

At Klean Kanteen, our goal is to reduce single-use items, plain and simple. So we make products guaranteed to hold up to whatever life throws at them. Because we are proud of our products and our quality controls, we back our products with a Strong as Steel Lifetime Limited Warranty against manufacturing defects for as long as the original purchaser owns the product, starting from the date of purchase or delivery (if later than the date of purchase) when the product is purchased from us or our authorized sellers in the Philippines. Klean Kanteen will repair or replace a product that is covered by this warranty with the same product or the client may choose to upgrade his/her bottle with a fee.

Please note that because we are unable to control the quality of our products sold by unauthorized sellers, unless otherwise prohibited by law, our warranty is not available for products purchased from unauthorized sellers, including unauthorized internet sites. Klean Kanteen reserves the right to reject warranty claims for products purchased rom unauthorized sellers.

To guarantee that the product was purchased from an authorized reseller, we require proof of purchase when claiming warranty.

Items eligible for warranty:

  • Thermal defects without dents
  • Sweating on the body without dents
  • Rust

*Eligibility will be confirmed after physical inspection and testing.

Items not eligible for warranty:

  • Damage from improper use or misuse
  • Damage caused by cleaning, disassembly, alterations, or modifications
  • Damage caused by, or resulting from, normal wear and tear, abuse, fire, or Acts of God
  • Bottles purchased from unauthorized resellers
  • Bottles with severe dents
  • Bottles without proof of purchase
  • Reprinting/Re-engraving
